The fine print
From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. Beginning 1 July 2016, as directed by the Langkawi Municipal Council, a local government Tourism Promotion Fee would be applicable per room per night.
The name on the credit card used for the booking should correspond to the guest staying at the property. For reservations made by a third party, you will need to complete an authorisation form and present a copy of the person's ID and credit card.
'The Langkawi Tourism Fee will be changed to RM10 per room, per day starting 1st January 2025 onwards in line with the Langkawi Municipal Council.For key events, a charge of RM20 per night will apply. Key events include Langkawi International Maritime & Aerospace (LIMA), Le Tour De Langkawi, Ironman, and Oceanman Malaysia.'Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

The service here has been impeccable! Extremely prompt and anything you need they can sort out from pressing to ordering coffee first thing in the morning. The grounds are so nice and if you're lucky like us it was extremely quiet and felt like we had the entire beach and pool to ourselves. If you're lucky you'll see some monkeys lurking around. A big shoutout to the butler and housekeeping team especially Amalinna and Shabir! It was the best way to finish our two week Asia trip
