The fine print
From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. Please note that guests are required to bank in the first night's payment within 5 days from the time of booking to secure the reservation. The booking will be cancelled otherwise. The hotel will contact the guest directly on instructions for the bank transfer.
Please note that the hotel will collect a refundable deposit from guests at the time of check-in.

The location is not too far from Kuah town and from the ferry terminal which is around 5 minutes ride by car/taxi or motorcycle. The price is very reasonable. The ambient is very nice. They got chairs and tables for you to sit and relax in their small garden. They also has a mini mart that sells snack & soft drinks. The bed & pillows are comfortable. This is a suitable place for any of you that looking for a budget place to stay in Langkawi.

Although the hotel is locate in a green area, insects were not there inside the rooms. The rooms are clean enough for a couple of nights and the bed was clean and comfortable. They have friendly staff who will assist you gladly. The staff gave us extra tissues and also an extra mattress since we were 3 people. Washrooms are also clean. We stayed for only 1 night but are very thankful to Motel Seri Muthiara for making our stay pleasant and a memorable one.

Closeness to the ferry terminal and distance to shops. Our stay was just to be close for the ferry instead of from Cenang which was our base for Langkawi. This accommodation therefore meet our needs
