The house is lovely, located in a beautiful area. We enjoyed the possibility to stay there with our dogs.

The whole neighborhood is made from approx. 80 (?) 20-year old wooden block houses, some of them seem to be rented for tourists, the most appear to be used for private use only which makes the area vey calm and safe. All are more or less similar and each and every one has a direct access to the little channels which makes them exceptionally nice and relaxing places. This property is consisting of two houses (for 2-6 persons south of the road, for 2-8 persons north of the road) for rent. We stayed in the southerly for 2-6 persons, the garden and in particular the lounge area at the channel is amazing! The owner is extremely nice and helpful and there is in fact nothing you would miss: fully (!) equipped kitchen, microwave, 2nd hot-air oven, dishwasher, laundry machine, laundry dryer, huge bathroom with jacuzzi, master bedroom with electrically adjustable bed and direct terrace access, 2 additional bedrooms and a bathroom above, comfortable sofas and chairs, games, (dutch) books, TV, a separated little garden house for tools and bicylces, mooring area for your own boat just in front, ... If asked for to stay here permanently - I would immediately move in :-) There are also some water toys like SUP & canoe and even 4 normal and one tandem bicycles are available. Our dog was happy, too - in particular with the neighbor cats on the other side of the channel ;-). The garden is fully fenced but of course open to the water, so in case your dog likes to swim take a bit of attention - otherwise its perfectly close. A little electric BBQ is available as well which we fed it several times with nice meat from a Jumbo supermarket some 5 mins away by car. All in all: very nice stay, extremely nice house and host - would like to come back everytime :-)
