Gasthof Klosterkeller is located in the heart of Kronach's Old City, about as close to the Rosenberg Fortress as you can get without being inside it. The room was spare but adequate; ironically, it had the best lighting of any of our accommodations on the trip, because it has not been renovated in the currently trendy, underlit style.

Fabulous hotel close to town centre, castle, etc. Very clean with good-sized rooms. Free private parking, good selection for breakfast and very friendly staff.
