The property was in a very good,quiet location. Unfortunately when we booked the MB apartment through Booking.com we wanted an apartment with air conditioning and more central. When it was booked it was the place that we initially.. Several days before we were due to arrive I received an email saying that the apartment that I thought we had booked had now changed to a different location without air conditioning. I never picked this email up until the night before travel due to ongoing issues at home, which greatly disappointed us. When we arrived at the location I had received an email during the flight of the apartment number, key codes etc. unfortunately I was unable to open the booking.com link on my iPhone and was unable to gain access to the apartment. I had to ring my daughter back home and requested her to gain access to my email to see if she could access the details, which she managed to do. When we eventually gained access to the apartment block we went to the room and were unable to gain access as the key was missing and the keypad door lying open. We were in the process of ringing Booking. Com to establish what was happening when we heard a noise within the apartment. I banged the door and was met by a male who spoke little English. I eventually showed him our booking confirmation and took control of the key. As yet I still do not know why this person had the keys to the apartment. During our stay I was not happy about leaving the keys in the key holder which left things awkward at times as our son wanted to go back to the apartment earlier than us.

The apartment is beautiful, its lovely and quiet and tucked away from the main hustle and bustle of the the main square in old town. It is however around 12 - 15 minutes walk from old town main square. This was not an issue for us as its basically a straight road to the centre so very easy to navigate. Facilities were great, the bed in the main bedroom wasn't the comfiest but was still good. All in all a great place to stay. Would definately book here again.
