This stay was exceptional. I had a difficult time as a senior solo traveller speaking only English. I am not very technical, and so I struggle using phones and apps to the best of their ability. The staff were phenomenal. Not only did they speak with my son in law and daughter a number of times to help me, but they offered and arranged multiple things, often going above and beyond what you would except. I lost my phone on a trip and they helped me retrieve it from the trip organisers, I fell and broke my shoulder and they were no end of help in every aspect. It sounds like a trip from hell, and without this hotel and the staff, it could have been they made everything manageable and were exceptional communicators with my family, making sure I had an excellent visit. They even zipped my case up for me as I could only use one hand! Thank you so much to those staff members who helped me throughout my trip. I will always be grateful.

The location is the best of the hotel. The other best part was that they allow for a lunch take out if you missed breakfast because of an early morning tour.

Reception staff extremely helpful and very friendly. Bed comfortable. Facilities great as well - little sitting area in conservatory with a complimentary drinks. Lift on site. Very close to center Main Street. Very clean rooms.
