An authentic temple lodging experience. I loved the morning ceremony and fire ceremony and these were the highlights of my Japan trip. Staff were warm, friendly and accommodating. Loved learning about the temple and its history. Great location next to the cemetery. My room overlooked the gardens and pond which was beautiful.

Amazing life experience. Value for money is good if you take into account the discovery of a monastery like life. The location is good, with a bus stop nearby. Located next to Japan's biggest cemetery, it's perfect for a moody night walk.

The history, architecture and gardens were amazing and the location next to the cemetery meant you can take your time wandering through at night. The morning prayers and fire ceremony were very moving and allowed for an authentic Buddhist experience. Peaceful and beautiful

Location next to scenic graveyard was superb. Staff very friendly and helpful. Morning ceremony was a highlight of our trip.
