A Tranquil Coastal Escape Our stay at Uday Samurda in Kovalam was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the serene coastal setting and the warm hospitality of the staff. The coastal view room was a highlight, spacious, tastefully decorated, and offering a breath taking, uninterrupted view of the Arabian Sea. Waking up to the sound of waves and the sight of sunrise over the water was truly rejuvenating. The breakfast buffet was a delightful start to the day. There was a generous spread of South Indian and continental options, all freshly prepared and full of flavour. I also indulged in an Ayurveda massage at the in-house Ayur Ashram Ayurveda Centre, and it was a deeply relaxing experience. The therapist, Geetha was professional and attentive, and the oils used were of excellent quality. It was the perfect way to unwind and embrace the calm pace of coastal life. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway that combines natural beauty, comfort, and wellness, Uday Samurda is a perfect choice. I would gladly return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kovalam.

Overall ambience, the food and the best part was the staff. Special mention Amal, Athira, Shreya, Jyothika, Sharika, Supriya, Febina, Sree Kuttan, Blesson and their Manager Pramod.

The staff were exceptional, particularly Jyothika from the food services was so kind! housekeeping Sandeep and Sanjay, who were courteous and helpful throughout. The staff truly stood out as the highlight of my experience.
