Mezzao was the most relaxing and peaceful guesthouse. Beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. Vasso was a very welcoming host. The highlight for us was the breakfast served each morning. The breakfast was different each morning, it included hot and cold food, and it was brought directly to our private terrace to eat whilst we listened to the sound of the waves. Absolutely delicious! The location was great, if you are looking for somewhere very quiet and beautiful. There is one taverna that you can walk to (Meltemi) but otherwise you will require a rental car to drive to other restaurants. We would recommend nearby Captain Nikolas taverna and Vatsa Beach bar and restaurant. The shared pool was very clean and large, with comfortable lounge chairs to relax on. I would highly recommend staying at Mezzao!! We also stayed in a different hotel in Kefalonia to see another part of the island, but Mezzao was definitely our favourite part of the trip. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful quiet location - perfect destination to get away from it all. Our room was spacious and immaculately clean. Homemade breakfast served direct to our private terrace was such a treat. Vasso is the perfect host and couldn’t be more helpful. Good taverna less than 5 mins walk. Some lovely quiet beaches nearby.
