This accommodation was a highlight of our trip to Kotor thanks to its amazing view of part of the bay and the mountains in the background. I believe anyone who arrives and opens the door to the room will say “wow” upon seeing the view. The apartment is great, with a good bathroom that includes a washing machine. Our host even provided us with laundry detergent, which helped us a lot. Besides the incredible view from the room, the apartment also has an outdoor area where we enjoyed a meal facing the iconic scenery. I’d say our experience was 97% positive. The only reason our stay wasn’t a full 100% is that the air conditioning unit couldn’t cool the bedroom very well, as it’s located in a different area. We ended up sleeping on the (very comfortable) sofa on the second night because the bedroom had gotten quite hot during the day — even with the curtains closed — and would have taken hours to reach a pleasant temperature.

This suited us perfectly in that it was close enough to old Kotor town to walk there (and had parking) but away from the hustle and bustle! There were two supermarkets within walking distance and if you like an authentic (and not overpriced) dining experience, we'd recommend the restaurant 'Erak' - also not too far from the apartment. One evening, we enjoyed the paved, zig zag walk from the end of the road up to the top of the mountain where you find a few pigs, cows, donkeys and a fantastic view of Tivat. The walk took us about 1 hour 45 mins going up (we didn't rush) and about an hour going down). We also found a route into town by turning left from the apartment, down some steps and along the water's edge that was preferable to the main roundabout albeit slightly longer. The apartment itself is well -equipped (kitchen, fridge (round the corner), dining table, shower room, air con, washing line, towels, etc.) but the best part is a balcony overlooking the bay. The apartment is found at the top of several steps to one side of the parking (and along a bit!) but the host will greet you once you inform them of your arrival. We stayed 3 nights in total which gave us plenty of time to 'experience' Kotor: e.g. a wander around old town Kotor, walk along the city wall, walk up the goat trail to the top of the city wall (sine kind lads gave us a bunk up through the hole at the end), a trip around the bay, ferry, Rosan, Perast (Our Lady of the Rock) etc. We left Kotor via the 'hair pin turns road, inland (we were travelling towards Pluzine eventually) and would recommend the views this gives you!

I was surprised that it was a big apartment for a solo traveller with a good view of the mountain and harbour. All the cookings stuff were available and there is a supermarket near the apartment. The apartment took around 20 min walk to the center.
