We stayed in the 105 sqrm historical house. It was an amazing experience. We had futon beds on tatami mats for the 5 of us. There was also very nice Japanese baths and great view. The Kotohira shrines stairs are close by and it was very nice experience.

We received the shuttle service to and from the Hotel. Grounds, and buildings were excellent. Well heated, but not stifling. There was a very comfortable lounge that was ideal for relaxing. Bedding was futons, made with a flourish by the night staff. We had the outdoor private onsen, which was absolutely superb. The breakfasts of a morning were sublime; some of the nicest we have ever had in Japan.

Private Shuttle from the station, calm neighborhood, very helpful staff, clean, you have all you need. Topnotch cuisine. The in-room onsen is just awesome. And thai massage experience was very good.

We are from the UK and wanted to experience a traditional Japanese Ryoken. We loved this place, it was so different to any hotel we have ever been to before. The staff were super friendly and helpful and the food was out of this world.
