The location of Blue Bell Penzion in the old town is superb. The staff at the Breakfast Cafe were very friendly and the a la carte breakfast was delicious. Inform/ask beforehand if you have dietary restrictions since the options at breakfast are limited. However, they are catering to your needs spontaneously which is lovely. As a guest you'll receive a 10% discount at the Blue Bell affiliated cafes and bars in the courtyard of the compound. The room gets quite hot as it's a maisonette room but luckily there is an air con if it gets too unbearable. The bathroom is spacious and of very good standard. In general the stay was good but there were some minor improvements that would make us give a better rating.

Stylish, comfortable rooms. Central location- perfect for exploring the old town. Great staff - helpful in every way. Nice food and drink. Highly recommend.

A lovely modern aparthotel. This aparthotel was situated around 3 min walk away from the main square in the Old Town (St Elizabeth Cathedral) Lots of restaurants, bars, coffee shops and supermarkets nearby. Aparthotel is linked to two eateries located on the square outside - breakfast is served is the Bistro on the end of the courtyard closest to Hlavná st. Food was good and you were given a small discount if you quoted your room details if you chose to eat there for lunch / dinner. Found the staff in the bistro to be a lot more warm and welcoming than in the beer house but it may be due to the language barrier! Overall I would stay again as it made a great base for our trip to Košice!
