This was my second time staying at this cozy Finnish cabin—my first visit was two years ago. Some things have changed since then, but the important parts remain the same. The new additions, like the restaurant and the second sauna, are great upgrades. Although it’s self-catering here, the restaurant is perfect for us when we didn’t feel like cooking. The food is authentic Finnish cuisine, and it really adds to the experience. What hasn’t changed is the stunning scenery and the hospitable people. It’s for me the perfect place to disconnect from city life and enjoy some peace and quiet away from the tourist crowds in Rovaniemi. We stayed for several days, and there’s always something to do—Nordic skiing, husky safaris, chasing the northern lights on the lake, or just relaxing in the sauna. It’s impossible to get bored. This place has such a special charm, and I’m already looking forward to coming back a third time!

Incredible experience, the cabin was just perfect for our family of 5! the husky route and the trekking are a must! The kids enjoyed the frozen lake and snow with sleigh, cross skiing, ice skating… and the restaurant was also great! We could even saw northern lights from the lake!!

My partner and I loved our time here, an incredible location with plenty of winter activities and a frozen lake ideal for viewing the northern lights. Highly recommend!

The location was great for a getaway in the countryside amongst nature. It was lovely and quiet and very picturesque with walking trails well marked out and not to forget the amazing husky sleigh ride experience. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming and very informative when we asked questions about the husky's. The buses made it accessible to get to which was a relief! I would highly recommend!

Beautiful location, like something out of a fairytale! The cabin was warm, cosy and comfortable. Jeppo and Janna made us so welcome. The restaurant is lovely and breakfast boxes amazing! The huskie’s are clearly loved and so well looked after. The trail and tour was a fantastic experience.

So cozy! Loved the cabin, always warm and inviting after a day in the snow. Such a lovely touch having the sleds/ ski gear etc for the kids to play with. My kids had hours of fun with these. Would recommend booking the sauna and having a dip in the ice lake. Highlight of my trip! Kids loved the husky ride which is on site.

Everything found in the same place :beautiful nature,sauna,forest path walk. We were lucky to see the northern ligths as well! The restaurant has delicious food and friendly staff and not to mention the husky ride....we just felt on love!

Absolutely perfect winter getaway near Rovaniemi. The host are wonderful. Their restaurant is very cozy. The frozen lake, the cabin itself is so warm. I love staying here and will comeback.
