My stay at the Korvola cabin was excellent. The cabin is very nice, cozy, and comfortable. It’s a very good place to relax and enjoy nature. I highly recommend it!

Korvalla Husky Farm is truly one of the most exceptional places we have ever stayed—and that’s saying a lot. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed, and over the three nights we spent there, the entire experience exceeded every expectation. The cabins are warm, cosy and beautifully rustic, instantly grounding you in the feeling that you are really in Finland. Stepping outside to find the lake frozen solid right at our doorstep felt almost surreal. The restaurant and café were equally inviting, more like a comfortable lounge than a dining space, perfect for relaxing, and a big bonus for our 17-year-old, who happily settled in there with the Wi-Fi when needed. We loved the thoughtful extras, especially the complimentary sports room with cross-country skis, ice skates and sleds, which made it easy to embrace the winter landscape at our own pace. And then there was the highlight: the dog sled ride. It was authentic, beautifully run, and far exceeded anything we had imagined—an unforgettable experience we will talk about for years to come. If you are considering staying in Rovaniemi or any of the more commercial options, do yourself a favour and don’t. Korvalla Husky Farm offers something truly special, authentic and heartfelt. It is, without question, one of the most incredible places we have ever experienced.

The location is ideal for husky ride and catching the aurora borealis. It is about 30mins from Rovaniemi. There's a bus stop along the road which is convenient. No other restaurants or supermarkets around. So plan carefully if you are staying longer. We stayed for 3 nights in the cabin and we were able to catch the aurora borealis for 2 nights. It is indeed a magical winter wonderland. There is a smoke sauna, shed for campfire, a small skating rink and play equipment for children. There are plastic sleighs to slide down the hill and we used it to slide our luggage to and from the road. The husky ride staff were friendly and professional. The dogs were super friendly and very excited for the run. There was a kennel tour after the ride too. We cooked our meals in the small well equipped kitchen. The toilet floor is heated which is a plus. A big shout out to Jaana and her lady chef for an unforgettable experience. Thank you so much for your kind hospitality. Blessed Christmas!

Absolutely beautiful setting with well-maintained grounds, and lots of attention to detail. I loved hearing the howling huskies late at night. We stayed in a red cabin, and found the alcove bunk beds very comfortable. There was plenty of snow at the time we visited, and we used the sledges, skis, snowshoes, and snowboard. We had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant and enjoyed both meals. The breakfast box is also worth ordering. Korvala’s huskies are well-cared for and the 2km husky tour is a good experience. Overall, we found Finland / Lapland to be very expensive in all respects, however I think it’s comparable value for money in Korvala.
