Very kind and helpful staff, Boris more precisely. Old town and sea promenades within foot walk. Parking is also close some 10 minutes of walking.

We were absolutely satisfied. Parking 5 minutes from the house, a bakery around the corner, and walking access to all necessary places were a great bonus. The host was very nice and helpful.

Koper (originally 'Aegida' or 'Goat Island") is an arguably underrated small city, with similarities to popular holiday destinations in the UK such as Penzance and Falmouth. This was the ideal base to discover it - it's close to the ancient centre, as opposed to the newer districts which are spread out and uncompromisingly post-1954 (when Koper formally joined Yugoslavia). Our studio was comfortable and well-stocked, and our host was friendly and helpful - for example, by providing a hairdryer on request.
