Zineta was an amazing host. We were made to feel part of the family. She’s an amazing cook and feeds you alot of good. Everything was made for us to feel comfortable. The place has a back in time, simple life with a few mod coms. We looked around Lukimor watched the sunrise high up on the hill it was Amazing. We were greeted by a friendly dog and saw lots of sheep and old style buildings. It’s so picturesque.

I felt so welcomed here. Room is surprisingly spacious for that type of house. Everything they cook is amazing and plentiful. I was a bit cold on my first day because of a storm, but it turned out to be a blessing so I could spend time by the fire and drinking bosnian coffee.

Everything about this place is fantastic. The location, experience, the view (!!), the food, the staff, the rooms. It was everything we expected and more. Highly recommend staying here and not just passing through the village for a day. 10/10.

Lukomir is a beautiful village, worth to visit. OK, the unpaved road that leads to the village is long, dusty and during the weekend the traffic is surprisingly dense on this single-lane road, but as I mentioned, it is highly recommended to complete this journey, since the environment is breath-taking and specifically the Etno Kaliba is something you should get experience with: the hosts are friendly and will help you to enjoy your stay, the view from your room is spectacular, the air is fresh and clear, the whole village is interesting to explore. The dinner and breakfast provided by the hosts are also fine, you can taste local foods at their best.
