We stayed 10 days. The house was very comfortable and large. We have rarely met people so generous and welcoming. They organised a cake for my father birthday, invited us to their son birthday, organised a taxi, etc, all for free. Really outstanding. I recommend without any reserve.

The owner was fantastic and we were very well looked after. We were traveling with two babies (8 months and 10 months) and the villa had high chairs, cots and even baby floats for the pool..! Also loved the fact we were able to order food as room service.

The property was spacious and well laid out. The swimming pool was a good size. The facilities such as the bathrooms, the kitchen, the fridge, dishwasher and washing machine were all excellent. The property was a good distance from town and from the airport, the properties were designed to give you privacy. There was a lovely veranda and also a patio downstairs. Excellent air-conditioning throughout. The beds were comfortable. The property was clean and tidy and well presented. If it is operated like a hotel with all the advantages of being in your own villa. Staff were amazing. The cleaners serviced the property on a daily basis. I had two wonderful massages in the glorious sunshine first thing in the morning we could’ve booked yoga and facials and manicures had we wanted. There was a lovely welcome pack waiting for us with a mixture of local foods and plenty of drink. We were also run to the local supermarket on the second morning so that we could stock the fridge with things for ourselves. This was excellent. I was very unwell on the second day and subsequent days because I pulled my back. Manolis the manager could not have been more helpful. He drove me to 2 pharmacies so that I could find the things which I needed his kindness and support over the next four days was outstanding and hugely appreciated. Manolis provided us with detailed information and a small presentation on our second morning so that we could take full advantage of the whole island of Rhodes. We would definitely have taken him up on those things had I not been so unwell. They included the trips on boats, trips to Rhodes city and the famous butterfly farm. He also recommended places to eat in town. We spent the first evening at a lovely beach side fish restaurant. We also ate at another of the family hotels and I was privileged to meet Mr and Mrs. Markopoulos Senior , this family has made hospitality of their pleasure as well as their vocation and that whole ethos extends to all of their staff.

The location - Kolimbia is beautiful. We are a couple with a teenager and 6 year old and the villa/area had something for everyone. The centre is ten mins walk, beach 15 mins walk. The beach is beautiful. We also spent a week in lallysos and all much preferred Kolimbia. The centre has shops and bars, arcades and fair for the little ones. Kolimbia has a small harbour were you can get boat trips. The beaches are stunning on the east coast in comparison to the west. If we revisited Rhodes would definitely stay on the east coast and just spend a day in the city centre which is enough. It is cheaper on the east coast too. Tsambika beach is amazing too, ten mins drive. The island is so small that with a car we visited many beautiful beaches on the east coast. Service - could not fault this. Manuel told us were to visit, and was available for any advice. Anything we needed he sorted straight away. Breakfast was lovely delivered in a picnic basket each morning, we found this was enough to have lunch for 4 with too whilst relaxing by the pool. It was our daughter’s birthday. On the morning manuel and a lady came with a beautiful chocolate cake, candle and gifts and sang happy birthday to her which she loved. The villa - air con was amazing. Kept the rooms super cool. 2 bedrooms upstairs and one down and 2 bathrooms made it much easier for 4 of us. The pool was lovely. Sunbeds lovely and comfortable. Nice dining area in the shade by the back patio door. Villa cleaned daily, beds changed when needed. Clean bath and pool towels each day.
