We stayed here for almost a fortnight. We stayed in two rooms. Pros The host is very nice and a good person. The Care taker is also helpful. Cleanliness is well maintained, daily housekeeping is done. Rooms have modern interior design and are spacious with a kitchenette area. Calm location. It is at the heart of the city so everything is easily accessible. Kali Mandir, Lake Mall, local market, metro are at walkable distance. Large Balcony and terrace area with plants and birds chirping will be a nice place to relax. Overall a pleasant stay with few minor issues. It was home away from home kind of experience. Everyone has minor issues in their homes and we cope up with it and live happily when people are nice. Here also since Mr. Bhawani the host was a kind and good hearted person who was always reachable and addressed our concerns we had a pleasant stay.

The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. The staff are kind, courteous, and helpful. Kalighat is a great location for exploring Kolkata, with the metro rail station very close by.
