I cannot emphasise enough how this villa is nestled in one of the most picturesque spots in Crete! The spectacular panoramic views offer a stunning backdrop of the mountains and the sea. Each evening, the sunsets paint the sky with vibrant orange, pink, and purple hues, while the sunrises bring a serene calmness to the landscape, creating an enchanting atmosphere right from your doorstep. The beauty of this property truly captivates, making it an unforgettable retreat. I thoroughly enjoyed the feature of each room having its own private balcony, which provided a perfect escape to savor the soothing sounds of the waves and the gentle sea breeze. It was a lovely touch that allowed for private moments of relaxation while enjoying breathtaking views of the horizon. The uniformity in both the size and style of the rooms was a significant advantage, helping to prevent any disagreements about who had the best accommodations. With their elegant decor and thoughtful layouts, each room was thoughtfully designed to ensure comfort and cohesion, making everyone feel equally valued. One aspect that particularly stood out to me was the pool’s heating option. Though it incurs an additional fee of 25 euros per day, this feature can transform your swimming experience, especially if you are visiting during the cooler months like September. The ability to take a comfortable dip in warm water as the temperature begins to drop is a luxury that surely enhances the overall stay. The location of the property is incredibly convenient, situated in close proximity to the charming village of Almedira. This makes it effortless to explore local shops, cafes, and cultural attractions.

Our host Paraskevas Savvides was excellent. Met us at 12.30am at the property instead of 11pm, as our plane was delayed. Was very responsive to any queries. Allowed us to stay until 7:30pm on the last day, so we had a full 7th day. Sorted out the mains water problem as quickly as he could.

Full privacy in this quite remote villa. A car is recommended. A great view to the sea, especially the sunsets are amazing. Nice balconies, terraces and a pool area with sun beds and shades. The family really enjoyed the pool. Four clean bedrooms each with air condition and double beds. Three bathrooms with shower spacious enough. Fully equipped kitchen to make your meals and enjoy them on the patio or dining area. Even a washing machine was provided (and dryer which we didn’t need). The host was really nice and his hospitality and flexibility were truly unexpectable! For example some fresh fruit and drinks were waiting for us when we arrived. Thanks for everything! I hope we can come back some day.
