The rooms were neat and clean. Even the shared washroom was spacious and surprisingly well-maintained. The house is tastefully decorated and has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Christie is a wonderful host, always helpful and a delight to interact with. She suggested places to visit, shared contacts of tour/taxi operators for exploring other parts of Nagaland, and provided great local recommendations. She’s also a fantastic cook. Absolutely loved the food here!

It's a sweet little home away from home which is managed by lovely host Christy. She sorted out all my days I was in kohima along with the commute. I was clueless before travelling to Nagaland, she assured me about sorting out for me, and she did. The property is in a quiet area of Kohima. 20-25 min walk from the main market or 5-10 min away using a vehicle. Mapple homestay will definitely be my first choice whenever I will be in Kohima.

Staying with Christi was one of the highlights of my travels. A delightful, warm and smiling hostess whose aim is her guest's happiness. Fluent English so we had some wonderful, interesting conversations - I learned a lot about Angami culture and history of the region. Don't miss her cooking which is FABULOUS ... full of flavour, easy on the spice. The accomodation is good value - a large room with shared bathroom with plenty of hot water. About a 25 minute walk to Bamboo Mkt. Maple Homestay is priced for the budget traveller (shared bathroom) but her hospitality and cooking should be a draw for all budgets.

It was like being at home. Cristy is very kind person and her sis also. Food was great and her pet dog (muffin) is so cute ☺️
