we had a tuktuk prearranged to meet us at long set pier. when we checked in we were invited to sit in the restaurant while the lovely receptionist went through all of the fees, ammenities and opportunities at amor. the manager even came by and greeted us. she showed us to our bungalow (we were lucky enough to get a free early checkin). the beach is a nice private vibe with a few other resorts but super quiet. the bungalow was clean, bed a little bit too hard for my liking but not the worst. the shower drain did take a while to drain and even clogged on the last day which wasn’t pleasant. power also went out on our last morning at around 6am but came on two hours later. air con is great in the bungalows too. beautiful pool, food, day beds and beach. beach could probably do with a little more clean up but was better than other beaches we saw. also prime season for salps all over the beach and in the water which can feel a bit unpleasant. also got stung by jellyfish a few times but nothing serious. this of course is not the resorts fault in any way. just don’t come in april for this reason. the dogs are also very sweet too. KEEP IN MIND THE BUNGALOWS ARE RIGHT UNDER MANGO TREES SO WE DEFINITELY HAD MULTIPLE FRIGHTS AT NIGHT WHEN THEY WOULD FALL ON THE ROOF OUT OF NOWHERE!! lol we rented the mopeds for $14 a day twice and had a blast!! we also did the boat tour, snorkelling, fishing and plankton. unfortunately because we were the only ones in the hotel who signed up, we ended up paying $110 which didn’t feel worth it at all. the plankton can’t really be seen very well because of the moon as well. didn’t feel worth the $110. they even sorted out a tuktuk for 5:45am and sandwiches for our breakfast as we had an early checkout. the staff are really great here. overall, i would 100% recommend this resort to anyone staying in koh rong, just explore the island with the mopeds.

Breakfast was as expected with sufficient variety. Nice location and quiet at night, Nice and clean swimming pool Seafood BBQ at the beach is worth mentionning Special fish (ocean trout) dinner a real highlight

The owner is great and very appreciative of his guests and definitely works hard to ensure everything is great in this fairly new property. Breakfast was good, as was the on-premise restaurant.

Paradise on earth, we loved it. We looked around the island for the best quality price. With what we saw it's definitely the best. More than 40$ less per night compare the competition on the island. Food is incredible and cocktails are very nice. Staff is super friendly The picture is a postcard. We don't expect perfection on an island at the end of the world, that's why we loved that place

Paradise with excellent staff and love the location with its own jetty in front of the Hotel It’s on a small beach with other small hotels and little bars, perfect to chill and relax. We hired a bike to explore the Island from the Hotel and explored other little bars and restaurants. The food and staff at the Hotel were 10 stars 🌟and it was the perfect way to end our holiday in Cambodia. Thanks Amor

Everyone was really friendly and helpful as soon as arrived and throughout. The dinner was also really good - we were recommended a few dishes by the owner and they were 10/10. Also loved the crab cakes! The room was spacious and clean too.

Love love love this place. Wish I could be back there now. The staff and owner were wonderful - they really went out of their way to make the stay special. The food was excellent, rooms were great, and the location on the beach was a little paradise. The hotel puppies were an added little bonus too!

Spotlessly clean property, very polite and efficient staff, fantastic new French owner, unbelievably efficient. The food was fantastic and fresh every day. Good access to mopeds with detailed ideas of where to go and what to see (that you won’t find in guidebooks.

When I stayed at Amor Resort on the 6th February, I was delighted by the welcome that I received by the manager Mael and all of the staff. Mael took the time to speak to me on a 1 to 1 basis and showed me to my room, explaining the details of the accomodation, the resort as well as the island itself. I noticed that he took the time to do this with every guest that arrived which I thought was a really great personal touch. They have a great range of food from locally sourced products (such as seafood and traditional dishes) as well their French cuisine which was outstanding. All of the staff are very friendly and could not do enough for me. They have a tuk tuk service that is on demand and timely. Akhara, one of the drivers built a great rapport with me and was so friendly, smiley and happy to help. Even when I had to stay an additional day very last minute, Mael went out of his way to arrange accommodation for me at a neighbouring hotel because he was fully booked and arranged for my luggage to be transferred to the hotel. Overall, it was the best service I have had whilst I was travelling for 2 months and I would recommend for people to stay at Amor Resort if they would like a seamless and relaxing experience whilst staying on the island.

My stay at Amor Resort Koh Rong was fantastic. The location is stunning—beautiful, peaceful, and away from the crowds, making it perfect for relaxation. The food was excellent, fresh, and full of flavor. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, always ensuring a great experience. A special mention to Mael, the manager, whose professionalism and hospitality made the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet and high-quality retreat on Koh Rong.
