Nestled just outside the island’s center, Amor Resort Koh Rong strikes the perfect balance between peaceful seclusion and effortless access thanks to tuk-tuks available at your beck and call. From arrival to departure, Mael (the owner) stood out with his exceptional hospitality. He is one of those rare hosts who truly cares, crafting a personalized experience by exploring the island to highlight the most rewarding spots complete with a curated map that tuk-tuk drivers are trained to follow. Guests aren’t just visitors they’re welcomed like friends. Mael went above and beyond, even arranging alternative accommodations and luggage transfers when I unexpectedly needed to extend my stay. It was easily the best service I’ve experienced during my travels. Every detail is designed for enjoyment: the sparkling large swimming pool, the generous and mouthwatering breakfast buffet, and the fusion of French and Cambodian cuisine each meal better than the last. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and comfortable, and the beachfront setting with great Wi-Fi rounds out the feeling of being in paradise. And for those who love authentic experiences: you can even go fishing with a local, and if luck is on your side, bring back your own catch to be freshly prepared by the kitchen. It doesn’t get more special than that ! To sum it up: Amor Resort is a rare gem with soul, style, HUGE ROOMS and unmatched service. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a seamless, unforgettable escape on Koh Rong. Great Thanks to Mael and all his Team !!!

Excellent beachside location. Large swimming pool. Very large, spotlessly clean rooms. Good poolside restaurant with excellent (included) breakfast. Very helpful, friendly owner (Mael) and staff who were a pleasure to deal with.

The location is excellent in the beautiful Coconut beach, the bungalows spacious and clean and the food at restaurant is very good. The owner and the staff are very kind and professional. It’s a pity I couldn’t stay longer!

The owner and manager were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our entire stay. Pickup at the pier was smooth and easy. The owner himself greeted us and gave a great introduction to the island and all the things we could experience. Our bungalow had been recently renovated and was spotlessly clean. Both the air conditioning and the WiFi exceeded our expectations. The staff were friendly and attentive, even though they had a lot to do. The food at the restaurant was fresh and far better than what we’ve experienced elsewhere in Cambodia. Prices were very reasonable. We ate all our meals at the resort and were happy with every one of them. The pool was clean and inviting, and the beach was beautiful with crystal clear water. We went on both the private tuk tuk tour around the island and the private boat tour. I can highly recommend both. They are a great way to explore the island, especially since the resort is a bit remote. The prices for the tours were also fair and definitely worth it. We went snorkelling during the boat trip, and even though the water was not completely clear due to recent rain, visibility was still good, and we saw both corals and fish. Overall, I can truly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a peaceful and affordable place to stay. It offers great value for money and is simply a wonderful place.
