The facilities were as expected. The guesthouse is near the shinkansen station, 20mins from the JR station and close to all the main tourist attractions.

Great little hostel, close to the shinkansen station and good hiking. For me the best part, was the breakfast where you are shown how to make your own rice balls

Its very comfortable, wide sleeping area and a small locker for you to keep your important stuffs throughout your stay. But, theres only two showers, and no women only shower. For those who mind, its probably a small downside. The kitchen area is clean and its a nice place to stay for a solo traveller

Breakfast prepared by staff personally was a nice touch. The hot soup and simple Japanese breakfast were comforting and energizing, perfect for starting the day’s journey.
