The resort itself, situated on a hill and surrounded by jungle, is impressive. Furthermore, the staff is incredibly friendly. Clean and pleasant.

Each home is spacious, comfortable and clean. I was solo travelling and although I loved my stay I think the guesthouses are best suited to 2+ friends or a small family. The location was perfect for me because it was out the way, I could get a grab motorbike into Lamai or Thong Krut (Chez Juliette is amazing!) and walk to the nearby beach, laundry service and 7/11. Very relaxing and away from the crowd.

Paw Paw was for us perfectly situated between the busy streets of Lamai in the east and the more quite and easy going west of the island. The resort is quite small with just 20 bungalows or so, which all stand in a beautiful maintained tropical garden and a lovely swimming pool. We really loved the relaxed vibe over there. Renting a scooter or car is a must for getting around the island from the resort. The family bungalow is large with an great aircondition, convenient fridge and cooker for a morning codfee. The owner is helpful with tips for you to get around the island. If you like an more relaxed atmosphere and don’t want to be in the busy over-touristic streets in the east, this is a great place to stay!
