The fine print
The boat transfer schedule will take effect from September 11, 2023, till further notice.Transfers: The estimated traveling time is 1 hour from Phuket International Airport to Chalong Pier and 30 - 40 minutes to The Racha by speedboat. The travelling time may vary and is subject to traffic and weather conditions.From Chalong Pier to The Racha (Racha Yai Island) 11.30am* 1.00pm 4.00pm*
The Racha (Racha Yai Island) to Chalong Pier 8.00am* 11.00am 3.00pm*
* The 11.30am, 4pm scheduled boat from Chalong pier to The Racha and 8am, 3pm scheduled boat from The Racha to Chalong pier is limited to 20 seats and subject to seat availability only.
The above schedule may change subject to weather and sea conditions, but the boat will not leave earlier than advertised as above in any case.
Kindly book the boat seat in advance at least 24 hours before arrival to ensure availability. Please contact Reservation staff via [email protected].
Important Notice: We recommend guests to arrive at The Racha’s Chalong Lounge at least 30 minutes prior to their scheduled boat departure time. The Chalong Lounge offers guests a retreat-like place to freshen up and check-in prior to boat transfer to the resort. Guests will enjoy complimentary amenities – including welcome drinks, beverages, light snacks, complimentary Wi-Fi, charging stations, reading materials and shower facilities.For safety reasons, we do not operate the boat at night. The Racha will be happy to assist guests in making alternative arrangements for overnight stay in Phuket in the event of late arriving flights or delays but will not be financially responsible. The safety of our guests is paramount and in the event of unsafe adverse sea conditions, The Racha may temporarily cease boat transfers until weather conditions improve. Every effort will be made to assist our guests with alternative arrangements until the situation is considered safe for boat transfers to operate.Guests are advised to book their departure flights accordingly allowing sufficient time for pre-flight check-in and formalities.
The Racha Chalong Lounge, is just before the pier parking lot, there is a big standing signage “The Racha” outside. The Lounge staff can be reached for assistance before departing from pier.

Amazingly clean beach for Thailand. Friendly and helpful staff. Peace and solitude. In villa BBQ was a great experience. Large, clean private pool. Arrival lounge was comfortable. Breakfast had great choices. Lovely room service attendants. Modern application for information and ordering. Environmentally friendly / sustainable methodologies.

Khun Oh and Khun Ball at the Padi dive center are absolutely great! Fantastic with our teenagers, funny, great service and always willing to go the extra mile (night dives with boat at the wrecks). They took great photos, too. Go diving with them if you can!

This resort is absolutely amazing with the clearest water I have seen in Thailand. The facilities are beautiful and the rooms well equipped. The staff are incredible and very willing to assist. The resort provides free ice and drinking water on the beach. Breakfast provided a great selection with good quality of food. Adults only pool and a separate kids pool. Beautiful spa and gym. The restaurants served great food at a reasonable price. The restaurant made my wife`s birthday very special. The resort lights up beautifully at night.

Absolutely amazing place! Could not fault it at all. The location is breath taking, the facilities are amazing, the staff went above and beyond for everything for us. We did most of the activities offered on the island and they were all great. Food for breakfast and all the restaurants was perfect. The rooms are very big and spacious and the outdoor shower is a nice touch. Would stay here for a lot longer next time to enjoy everything the island has to offer.
