Such a great experience staying on Koh Mak a week. Really enjoyed my stay at Villa Allure. Quiet peaceful Excellent friendly staff. Aon speaks excellent English Very helpful. Jok has a real love for nature Excellent hosts Great bungalow with real sea view You can hear the waves lapping the shore so soothing. Fabulous thunderstorms Lightening shows wow Beach’s here and all over the Island. Koh Mak seafood Cin cin bar Dom noodle By the sea if you want a great sandwich

Loved our stay at Villa Allure so much so that we ended up extending! The hotel is in a slightly isolated and quiet area but very easy to travel around if you hire a motorbike or golf cart (no more than 20 mins to get to the other end of the island). They offered a pick up service from the pier on our arrival which was perfect. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. It was wonderful waking up to the sea view every morning. The free kayaks were a great bonus, we recommend making use of this during sunset when the sea is calm - it’s not really possible to swim in as it’s very rocky and there are lots of sea urchins but Laem Son beach is nearby and great for swimming. The bike we hired wasn’t the best but it did the job. We also loved the breakfast options. Staff were incredibly helpful and hardworking, we really appreciate that they dropped us off to the pier on our last day at no extra cost. They also came to our rescue when we had some bike troubles. If you see a very vocal tabby cat, make sure to give her some love she is very cute! Great value stay, recommend supporting this family run business.
