Very basic rooms in a jungle like setting. Equiped with fridge and air cin. Toiletries kettle. Comfy bed fridge for beer. Noce balcony terrace. The staff were absolutely amazing. Very helpful and kind!!! This is koh lipe standards basic but good. .

Stayed at Chawlay Resort Koh Lipe during high season — it was basically the last available option under €100 a night. We paid a bit over €60 per night for a very basic bungalow. Given the season, the price is understandable… but honestly, it still felt overpriced for what we got. The bungalow itself was clean enough, but both my wife and I got sick — most likely from the air conditioning, which seemed poorly maintained and not properly cleaned. It also struggled to cool the room effectively, so comfort levels werent the best. The bathroom had a sewage smell. To be fair, thatis to a broader issue around Koh Lipe — aging plumbing combined with heavy tourism and people flushing toilet paper where they shouldnt doesn’t help. Overall: acceptable if you’re desperate for a place in high season, but don’t expect great value for money.

The staff were lovely, the rooms are very comfortable and the facilities inside the rooms are brilliant. Overall great stay and when I’m back in Koh lipe it is where I would choose again!
