The only bad thing about this beautiful resort is the fact that at one point you have to go back home. Beyond the place being a little piece of paradise is the fabulous staff! Everyone of them (I will not mention names for fear of leaving one out) went out of their way and beyond to make our second stay even better than the first one. The kitchen is mouthwatering, the cocktails are to die for and the whole atmosphere is one to relax to the max. We were moved to tears at arrival and at our farewell. . Khop Khun Krap 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 dear people of Andalay, my wife, my girls and I sincerely hope we can return one day and see you all again. Take care of each other and of this wonderful piece of paradise on earth. ❤️🙏🏽

We spent four nights at this hotel and while some aspects were enjoyable, others were quite disappointing, especially the constant noise from children. The overall atmosphere felt more like a daycare than a hotel meant for relaxation. Kids were running, screaming and crying all day long. Even in the so-called adults-only pool, we encountered a family with children who ignored the rule. When we pointed it out, they took it badly, as if we were the ones at fault. Given that families already have access to the entire property (and another pool), the least they could do is respect this one dedicated space. The staff should also be more proactive in enforcing the rule. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway as a couple, this is definitely not the right place. I’ve never been particularly drawn to adults-only hotels, but after this experience, I now understand why the concept appeals to so many people and I would seriously consider it for future trips. Another downside was the location of our bungalow (V3), which was right on the main path leading to the restaurant and reception. Zero privacy! Everyone walked past, saw us sitting on the terrace and greeted us like in a campsite. For the price we paid, this was quite disappointing, if it were a 1,000 THB-per-night bungalow, it would be understandable, but at this rate, we expected much better. On the plus side, the room was clean and well-equipped (fridge, safe, slippers, bathrobes…), but a few details were frustrating: poorly placed light switches that forced us to walk around the bed in the dark, a toilet spray with no water pressure, and no hot water on the first night. The food was also disappointing, clearly adapted to Western tastes and lacking authentic flavors. However, the breakfast was quite varied. That being said, Koh Libong is an amazing island, far from mass tourism, offering a truly authentic and peaceful experience.
