Please note that small children must be closely supervised as the infinity pool is unfenced in either the Hillside and the Beach villas. None of the bedrooms in the Hillside or Beach Villas are inter-connected.Please note room rates are inclusive complimentary round-trip transfer from Krabi Airport to the resort. Guests are required to provide travel details at the time of booking. The hotel highly recommends guests to arrange for the flights to arrive at Krabi Airport in the morning or early afternoon. It takes approximately 2 hours to arrive at the resort with a car follow by the resort's boat, all of which are exclusively for guests. This service is applicable only on the guests' check-in and check-out dates only.Mainland jetty to Pimalai- 09:00, 11:00, 12:45, 14:45, 16:15 and 17:30 hrs
Pimalai to mainland jetty- 06:30, 08:00, 10:00, 12:00, 14:00 and 16:00 hrsPlease note that the availability and timeliness of the boat service is subject to the weather/ sea conditions. In case of adverse weather/ sea conditions, the resort will arrange for guests to be transferred to the resort by public ferries and additional ground transportation. The transfer may then take 30 minutes longer.Please be informed that due to safety reasons, the boat shuttle service is not available between 18:00-06:00 hrs. After 18.00 hrs the transfer can be done using public ferries. These ferries normally stop regular service at 22:00 hrs. For a later arrival, please kindly contact the resort directly.Departing from the resort, the same arrival route is used. However, the resort allocates extra travelling time to ensure that guests arrive at the airport on time.The property also offers a chargeable transfer service (via a minivan and boat) between mainland Krabi and the resort. Please kindly contact the resort directly for the cost of transportation.Please note that the name of the credit card holder must be the same as the guest's name and credit card must be presented to the property upon check-in.Pimalai Resort and Spa is enhancing his facilities for the comfort and safety of our guests and will add an underground tunnel near our main entrance to connect our resort estate with our hillside estate. The project is anticipated to start in mid-May 2024 and is estimated to be completed by end of September 2024.During the initial phase, some construction noise will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and we ask for your kind cooperation and apologize for any inconvenience caused.Our spa will be temporary relocated and any room that is within 50-meter radius of the work site will not be in operation.Pimalai Resort and Spa continually strives to be the best resort on Koh Lanta and we appreciate your continued support during this time of renovation.

We ended up staying in a one-bedroom villa with private swimming pool and it was pure luxury. The villas were very private and not overlooked and ours had incredible views towards the ocean. The villa was was clean and spacious with an enormous comfortable bed. The quality of the food at the restaurants was exceptional - some of the best we’d had during our two week trip around Thailand. There are plenty of options for dinners in the evening with a mix of cuisines which is great if you’re having a longer stay. Breakfast also had a good variety of cuisines with fresh made to order eggs. We loved being able to walk down to the beach for happy hour where they have a nice beach bar and the sunsets were the best we had seen in Thailand. The resort is enormous and to get between your accommodation, the lobby, the spa and the beach you can easily request a buggy through a very easy to use app or by the bedroom phone. We actually enjoyed the buggy rides so it didn’t matter to us that it was difficult to walk between the various areas. Because of the size of the resort it never felt over crowded, but still had a nice buzz. The beach has been set up with comfortable lounge chairs with fresh towels on hand, a variety of water sports equipment and staff come round with ice cold water which was a nice touch. The spa was exceptional and felt like a jungle oasis. Being able to hear the jungle birds whilst having a massage was incredible. Finally the staff were always so helpful and kind. We left some clothes in our laundry basket and they had them folded and hand delivered in a rush just as we were embarking the hotel’s boat on the beach (which provides guests with a free transfer to Krabi - another nice touch!). Overall we couldn’t fault this hotel at all and would recommend at least 3-4 nights here!

The beach is a long stretch of sand but there are rocks that you have to be aware of when swimming. The hotel has marked a small area that is free from rocks and certainly worth baring in mind with small children that may just freelance. Clean, clear and very warm waters....highly recommended.

The resort wasn't too busy. They were able to pay special attention to all their guests. The breakfast is fresh and scrumptious! Pimalai really pays attention to every single thing. The room was clean and so comfortable, the pool areas are well kept and the staff continues to pay attention to your needs at all times. Fresh and cold water is readily available to quench your thirst, and watermelon and pineapple is served throughout. Pimalai is truly an experience!!

Our stay at the Pimalai was very delightful. The staff were exceptionally friendly and always willing to help, making us feel warmly welcomed throughout our visit. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, with high-quality and well-kept facilities that added to the overall experience. We also appreciated the complimentary airport transfer, which made our arrival seamless. The breakfast was another highlight, offering a wide variety of delicious options to start the day.

Wonderful location, beautiful and huge villa with pool, excellent staff, great trips, wonderful food, clean beach, effortless lifts back up to the villa whenever required. Epic sunsets. Next to no mosquitoes.
