I came for a week and stayed for a month! I absolutely loved Lanta Happy Hill - everything about it was just perfect for me. It essentially became my home for a month. I was there in the low season so Koh Lanta was quieter which was exactly what I wanted. The weather was beautiful for the most part - blue skies and baking hot - although there were a couple of showers as you expect in low season. The beach was about 400m away so easy just to head down there for a few hours. I was made to feel thoroughly welcomed by the owner and as a solo traveller, I felt safe, secure and comfortable. I loved everything about Lanta Happy Hill - the clean, spacious rooms, sitting on the balcony amid all the greenery, the location and the people.

The staff were unbelievably kind. Helped carry my suitcase, helped with washing. And upgraded to a bigger room. The room was awesome, clean and big with kettle and free tea and coffee and big fridge. Thank you so much!

The staff was extremely helpful, so very kind. We needed a charger and te owner took me on her scooter to get one. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely peaceful location but close to Relax Bay where it's lovely to watch the sunset, some great little restaurants on the main road, The Gardens Cooking class which was also very good.

Clean Little bungalows 5 mins away from the beach. Very friendly staff.
