David “Nice little bungalows on a great beach but a few small improvements would make them even better”

This place is all about the location as it was excellent. On what we felt was the best beach on koh Lanta Plenty of restaurants and bars on the beach (we loved SweetSoul, Horizon right next door and Mr Loves bar) and also a selection along the bustling street just behind (try the restaurant to the immediate right of 7-11. It doesn’t look much but it’s excellent) The room was adequate, bed was comfy but bathroom could do with updating as it was a little shabby. And whilst the aircon worked it made the sound of a jumbo jet and so was very hard to sleep with! The staff were all really nice and friendly and made you feel at home. With 7 of the 9 verandas of the bungalows facing inwards and facing each other (the 2 more expensive bungalows at the front faced directly out at the beach) it felt like a little community and you could say hello and speak to your neighbours easily which we liked. You also have access to the Miami hotel about 400m down the beach and can use their pool and sunloungers. This is a god send as there is no shade by the bungalows (see below) unless you have the front two. We spent most of our days underneath the trees at this hotel which was great.
