We had a beach front cottage which was great! We loved the small pool near the restaurant and had lunch and beers brought there. The trees along the beach front gave a lot of shade which was good on hot days. The ocean was super to float around in and swim. Food at the restaurant was tasty and staff were friendly. We walked to local shops several times to buy extras like water and beer and snacks. There was a pharmacy and 711 and small grocery store. Also some local shops selling clothes, hats, bags etc. We took a local truck to white sand beach for a look around. Much preferred Klong prao beach. My sister went on a half day snorkelling trip which she loved. It was a great place to relax and enjoy the beautiful surrounds.
