The fine print
From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. Only fully vaccinated individuals that plan to stay-in for Tourism purpose, will be allowed to check-in at our hotel upon providing proof of vaccination.Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

The staff were good but the owners are not. They didn't provide a credit card payment terminal at the counter. Online booking asked for cc details and said "pay at counter" but at the checking staff said "must pay cash". It was 11pm! That was embarrassing. The room key card got deactivated at 11am on the check out day although I paid for a late check out. The staff couldn't fix it. No apologies from the owner who was around indicating arrogant attitude! I will not recommend this hotel to anyone no I will stay again. I feel sorry for the staff. They were good people.
