Hotel Overview

Located on the South Coast and 1 km away from the village of Kizimkazi Mtendeni, Promised Land Lodge faces the sea and is surrounded by a tropical garden.

Wonderful relaxing lodge. The location is beautiful. There is a pool, soft lounge music, sportsfacility's, relaxbeds, shade, swings, hammocks, nice food. Not expensive and nice personel. Very clean simple bungalows with a fantastic view

The whole place is just wow…! so beautiful and peaceful with so many nice areas to relax, with sunny and shaded areas. Great sunset views. The bed and bedroom were comfortable and spacious. Having the sea to jump into straight from the property was a bonus. The staff were super cool, helpful and friendly. We ate at the restaurant a lot and the food overall was very nice and reasonably priced. The location is out of the main area (20-25 min walk), but if you don’t mind that, it is perfect for staying in the property and enjoying the amazing surroundings. We really had a nice time and wish we’d booked longer than 3 nights!

It’s a very quirky place in the far south of Zanzibar. The hotel is set in lush grounds and all the accommodations have a very private feel. So much effort has been put into the gardens will lots of art and trinkets hanging. It really is wonderful. The pool was really nice and the staff are lovely
