The property itself is a big tropical garden where the bungalows are set. The garden is very beatiful! The surroundigs were very peaceful. You can see some monkeys wandering around. We also saw a bush baby in the evening. The pool is also very good and there is a plenty of pool loungers around. And we liked the evenings there - very nice views and you can find a lot of spots where to sit. The accommodation itself was very comfortable except for the hard mattress.

Loved Everything about Promised Land. It's an experience within itself. The Lodge, the ambiance, the design, the attention to detail. Zen. Peaceful. Very polite.

The promised land lodge can be considered a resort surrounded by nature: the ocean, big trees, sand floor and monkeys in the evening. There is not a sand beach in front of the resort. Sand beaches are easily reachable by car for a day trip. There are different excursions organized by the hotel or by locals. We really enjoyed them. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. The staff is friendly.
