Very pretty surroundings, but the adjacent countryside was a golf course and off-limits to non-golfers, which is a shame. There's nothing else nearby.

The location was beautiful, snow and forest with mountains in the distance. The breakfast was good, there was a wide selection, accompanied with great views. The room has an old school charm to it, it's not modern but it fit right. There's a regular shuttlebus, which I recommend using, as it was 2000 yen for a taxi from the nearest station.
