What an amazing and unique place and experience! I've heard about the Snowhotel before but nothing could prepare me for what a wonderful experience it actually is . Decided to visit Kirkenes after a trip to the North Cape. Little did I know that the Snowhotel would become the highlight of my entire trip. And the magical North Cape experience, the chill atmosphere in Tromsø, and picturesque Lofoten are truly hard to beat. Incredibly friendly and super helpful staff. Lots of nice guests in great spirits. The restaurant offers exquisite food. One gets to even experience reindeer 🦌 and huskies 🐺 kept on location. The cabin is beautiful and luxuriously equipped. And then there is the unique Snow Hotel itself. Something that can't be described in words easily and truly needs to be experienced.

The SnowHotel itself was incredible - truly an amazing thing to visit (or spend the night if you're brave!). We stayed in the wooden cabins which were comfortable and warm. Meals were excellent! Local ingredients and very well prepared. The negative review is because of the time of year we visited, very few activities were available. The dogs were sick and some were quarantined, and the reindeer seemed depressed. The staff were friendly and helpful , but given the choice, we would really only return in the winter time.

Exceptional experience, extremely friendly staff. Dogs and rendeers are just cute! The food offered was very tasty and delicious either with an emphasis on local ingredients

The expectations were high, but we were not dissapointed! What a gem. Very friendly staff. Very nice food. Very cosy cabins with comfortable beds. Our luggage was taken care of on arrival and departure. We were picked up in Kirkenes harbour and a taxi was arranged for us to go to the airport on departure. We were fortunate enough to see the Northern Lights which was the icing on the cake. All in all we had a perfect stay!
