What a lovely apartment! Full of quirky/retro things, made a lovely atmosphere. Homemade bread and cakes to greet us, milk, butter and fresh eggs supplied. Super shower, nice towels, lots of reading material/games, easy to use TV.

Kirkby Stephen is a small market town. It is a great location for visiting the Yorkshire Dales and Cumbria . We had a fish tea in Coast to Coast on the Friday and a very enjoyable Indian meal in the Mango tree on the Sat. Both meals were very good and well priced. The apartment was very comfortable and the owner provided. Bread, marmalade, butter, milk, tea and coffee. It is full of antiquities which may not be everyone’s choice but we were fine with it. The apartment was spotless with very nice bedding. Entrance is from an alleyway .

Central location, easy access to all amenities. Helpful hosts. Essential provisions provided - tea coffee milk etc. Also homemade cake, bread and marmalade was a very welcoming additional extra. Lots of interesting and fascinating artifacts as well as traditional games.

The location was perfect, right in the middle of the village, close to all shops. Country walks started at the church and led out into the countryside . The apartment had so many antiquities to look at. The owner left bread and butter, milk and cake , lovely little touches to make the stay even better

The apartment was clean and comfortable and full of interesting things. The host was very friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble for her.
