The garden and pool setting which surround most of the rooms, was mesmerizing! It gives you a real taste and feel of Yala National park. The room we had was also very spacious and authentic.

The friendly, charming atmosphere. Unlike big international hotels we knew we were in Sri Lanka. Would definitely return.

The only three things that we liked were: 1. The location was great, nothing really around but very convenient to the park or to the main roads on the way down south or towards the north. 2. The staff was absolutely great, specially Anuradha and team. She made sure that we were well taken care of, and always available for anything that was needed. She really cared about her guests. 3. The Ayurveda massage, the therapist was brilliant, one of the best massages that I have experienced, which is great after long trips.

Location is good in terms of its proximity to the entrance of Yala National Park. The room and bathroom were quite spacious and the beds were comfortable. The pool was a good size and my daughter really enjoyed her time swimming and playing in the water. The front desk staff , especially Ms Anuradha, were very hospitable and did their best to assist us with booking safaris and taxis; when they heard we wished to try authentic Sri Lankan cuisine, the chef created a wonderful sampling menu for us which we thoroughly enjoyed. Breakfast, both the Asian and other option, were good.
