Nice rooms, beautiful big garden and the small private pools were fantastic. We had a view to Mt Batur and it was very quiet during the night. Perfect with small kids.

Our stay at Kamaru Villa was truly exceptional. Everything about this place feels well thought out, peaceful, and beautifully cared for. The owner Gede is incredibly kind and welcoming. He showed us his onion farm, introduced us to his adorable dog Johnny, and brought us delicious local fruit. These gestures made us feel more like guests than customers. He also offers sunrise jeep tours on , which is handy to have access to and available right from the property. The staff are four lovely young men who consistently go above and beyond. Service was attentive and professional at all times. We liked them very much. The villas are immaculate, beautifully designed, and very comfortable. The private hot tubs are incredible, and the grounds are lush with perfectly manicured lawns and gorgeous tropical landscaping. The views are breathtaking, with scenery across the mountains and volcano, farms and greenery in every direction. It truly feels like a small hidden paradise tucked between the mountains. The cooler climate compared to southern Bali was a huge bonus, and we loved falling asleep to gentle rain and waking up to birdsong and misty mountain air. There is beautiful birdlife and butterflies aplenty. Yes, a few flies as expected in a rural area, but nothing that detracts from the overall experience. We cannot recommend this property highly enough and would absolutely stay again.

Great place to stay in Batur and disconnect! We could also book the Mount Batur Hike with them for good price. The highlight of the Villa besides their beautiful rooms, it that you have your private hot spring water pool, so you can relax there after the hike.
