The location: it was quiet. The rooms were large and very clean. The breakfast was sufficient and always ready on time. The staff team was helpful and pleasant.

Very pleased that the new owners took on the Kington hostel after the YHA pulled out. It still has the feel of a YHA hostel but with nice touches such as towels and toiletries, very helpful to not have to carry them on a hike. The basic complimentary breakfast was also appreciated, as was provision of peppermint and camomile tea in addition to the usual. Excellent cooking facilities.
