This place actually turned out to be a lot nicer than it looked in the photos. It's a bit like a hostel set up - a large old building with a number of different rooms and then a spacious shared kitchen/dining area as well as a chillout/lounge area. There's free tea and coffee in the shared kitchen and the free breakfast consists various cereals (granola, Weetabix, bran flakes), toast, yoghurt and fruit - which was a very welcome prior to a day on the Offa's Dyke Path. We had a lovely welcome from the lady who runs the place and lives next door - she showed us around when we arrived and made us feel at home. It's only a short walk (literally a few minutes) into the centre of Kington, where I can recommend that you have a drink in The Swan beer garden and dinner at the Thai Kitchen :)

This was the absolute perfect accomodation for our group of friends who were walking Offa's Dyke trail. Great communal areas, lovely rooms and run by lovely people. Thank you!

I liked the location and the cycle storage was very good. The youth hostel style of accommodation suits me, and the hosts were very friendly and helpful.
