Excellent location in Kingswear, close to the pubs and ferry to Dartmouth. Very comfortable, clean, well fitted out property, has everything that you need and more.

House was beautifully presented and exceptionally clean. Plenty of bottled water provided (the area still has a no drinking tap water advisory), fully stocked kitchen of utensils with the added bonus of soap, washing up liquid, toilet rolls and toiletries which we didn't expect. Even tea, coffee and a few biscuits were waiting for us on arrival which was a lovely surprise. We were grateful of the electric fan as we were lucky enough to get some hot weather! Bed was comfortable as was the lovely lounge whilst we watched the Olympics in the evenings. We enjoyed long walks on the Kingswear side of gorgeous scenery and history looking at all the old war bunkers. A one minute walk to the little ferry takes you over to Dartmouth which we did every day to enjoy the shops, food and more exploring. We also managed to park up the road without charge for the whole week.

So close to two lovely pubs, The Ship and The Steam Packet. Plus the charm of the steam railway, marina vistas, the fireworks at the Naval College Passing Out Ball. Facilities were all as one might expect from a holiday cottage, and we could easily spend weeks there. Plenty of towels, toiletries, easy to work heating, decor and seating all very nice. And it was so peaceful and quiet, and located on the sunny side of the Dart.
