There is also 'pay and display' parking directly opposite the hotel, with a maximum of 2 hours parking and it is free between 18:00 and 08:30.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. Glenn “Friendly comfortable Victorian hotel perfect for the theatre”

The staff are wonderful. The hotel is family run, with multiple members involved day to day. They are supported by a willing and enthusiastic team. Breakfast was included, and came with a lot of choice from cereal to full English. I noticed a vegetarian full breakfast is offered too. We ate all of our evening meals there for convenience, the food is top quality, well prepared and generous. Biggest fish I have ever seen in their fish and chips. It is a Victorian building so the layout is quirky, but the room and bathroom offered everything that we needed. The location is perfect for a theatre visit, the little park between the hotel and the theatre is very pretty.

Well situated to the theatre with parking available. Our room had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Staff were exceptional, super welcoming and worked super hard!

The guy on reception (I think his name was Simon) went above and beyond to look after us. We had a couple of issues and he bent over backwards to fix them for us. I was convinced he was the the owner of the hotel because the degree of care and attention he applied would only come from a proprietor. To my astonishment, I found out the following day that he is not the owner, and that he is just someone who clearly cares. The world needs more Simons! Everything else was great. The room was spacious, the breakfast was really good and all the other staff at the hotel were really helpful. I highly recommend this place.
