Glenn is a brilliant host Karolina - the volunteer from Chile was my first contact ( she let me in ) and she was awesome too. Sadly I think she's gone travelling - but Glenn is your man !

Cosy hostel with friendly accommodating staff. Great little kitchen, nice lounge and free wifi. Everything was clean including shared loo. Other guests were quiet and considerate after dark and it was just very cosy and friendly. The location is great for exploring the delights of Old Town and vibrant Humber Street. Minutes awsy from museums, shops and galleries. Tons to do and a great base.

On entering the property, I was greeted with a very warm welcome, I was shown to my room @ the back on the 2nd floor, it consisted of 2 bunk beds & a single bed, I was allocated a lower bunk near the door which had a curtain & was clean & comfy enough also 2 plug sockets & a bedside table, storage was in lockable locker which was ample enough for a small suitcase or large holdall. The Bathroom was further down the corridor it contained 2 shower rooms, a toilet & 2 separate sinks, I used the 1st shower room it had a usable shower although it was only push button (reminded of those in public swimming baths in the 70s), I was told there were kitchen facilities to use upstairs on the top floor but I didn't bother as the indoor market is situated next door, I just used that for breakfast. The location is excellent bang in the middle of the old town, although my gig @ the Welly was the other side of town it's only a 20 minute steady walk 10- 15 mins to train station. Overall if you're a budget traveller & not expecting the Ritz it's excellent value for money & has all the facilities you need.

The beds were comfortable. Curtains on the bunks is a nice touch for those that require privacy. The kitchen was adequate. The staff were wonderful.

Our fourth stay at Trinity Backpackers - Hull just wouldn’t be the same without it! We love staying here and doing the Ale Trail round Hull’s historic Old Town, and having breakfast in the marina. We love Trinity and the lovely chatty owner, who is bright, funny and knowledgeable. Towels and clean sheets in room. It’s tidy and the noticeboard is helpful. Leaflets and tourism info provided. Excellent value for money and we just love it! We will hopefully be visiting here for many years to come.
