It was beautiful, peaceful and just what my dog and I needed. My Ruby enjoyed playing with Rick every day and was free to roam around.

This is my 3rd stay there with family and my dog Darcy (Aussie Cattle Dog) Every time has been a little different but its a great place to escape the rest of the world for a moment and just be at peace in this fabulous rambling country landscape. Rick is non stop keeping the place looking its absolute best. Lovely tropical gardens surrounded by native trees and view that looks out to the Pacific Ocean that is just so peaceful and relaxing. Darcy is a frisbee freak and Rick was always happy to toss the frisbee whenever Darcy was out and about roaming freely around the property. The rooms are always clean and tidy and comfortable. Take your own supplies and just spend time away from the rest of the world. Less than 10 mins to Kingscliff where you can indulge at any one of a number of excellent cafes and restaurants before going for a walk on the beach. It not only has 3 motel style suites, there are 2 caravans that have been retro fitted for extra rooms. The resort is limited to adult guests which makes for a quiet time for those of us who have pets not kids. Sunsets and Sunrises are spectacular. Rick and Veronica live on site and are always happy to take care of any your needs, most of the time you don't even know they are there. Its not so much what I like about the place but its a place I love to stay.
