We were made to feel very welcome by Chris and Bryony - a very relaxed stopover with an easy going couple. Room was light, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast plentiful and as noted by other reviewers the views across Hope Cove wonderful. Great walk over the fields to Hope Cove for dinner at The Hope & Anchor.

Perfect location on the South Hams, amazing view of Hope Cove from the breakfast room. Bryony was lovely and very helpful. Breakfast was generous, room very comfortable. Coffee & tea in the room, with sublimely delicious cake treats on arrival.

Beautiful location with the sun rise visible from the room. Welcomed by Chris and Bryony to their lovely home and everything was immaculate. Comfy bed with all facilities required. The breakfast was fantastic with the most amazing view across the valley to Inner Hope

The location of the property is quiet and rural. We received a warm welcome from Bryony and Chris and had a separate outside entrance to the room and our own parking space. The room was comfortable and spacious with a very comfortable bed and a lovely clean shower. The view from the light-filled breakfast room of Hope Cove and the sea in the distance is fantastic. Lots of space on the breakfast table and a good selection of fresh fruit, cereal, yoghurt, toast, warm croissants and delicious homemade jam. A cooked breakfast was offered on Sunday. 30-40 minute walk over the hill past flocks of sheep to Hope Cove where you can have dinner. The location is perfect for the coastal path and Bryony kindly gave us a lift to East Soar in the morning so we could get to the coastal path to Salcombe quicker. From there we took the bus to Malborough in the evening and another 20 minute walk back. We felt very comfortable - even during the short visits from Toasty 🐶 and Alex 😼 Thank you very much - it was nice with you!
