I [27] had booked last minute to W. Lexham Manor as a suggested place to go from a family member (who is yet to visit but is definitely hoping to soon) and I had average expectations for a last minute glamping holiday. This stay exceeded all expectations and I was in pure admiration on arrival. The grounds are exceptionally well kept and the cabin was a perfect, if not very generous, size for me and my (small) pet dog. It's in a superb location, about 30 minutes from the beach in the car and only 9 minutes to Swaffham town but there are walking spots all around if you fancy a proper getaway from busy life. I stayed in Gaggle cabin which was without an en-suite bathroom though you can opt for ensuite during booking. The cabin was cosy, detailed with fairy lights and with extra blankets, kettle and hot water bottles for those colder nights. The bathrooms are really close to all cabins/teepees/treehouses and extremely well looked after - clean, warm and with great shower pressure. On a clear night the walk from the bathroom to the cabin was breathtaking for the clear views of the stars. The outdoor, undercover kitchen space is well equipped with fridges, utensils and cooking equipment. Check-in is very simple and the hosts are easy to access through mobile. The grounds are great to walk around with cute bridges over the streams that run through the lower end of the property, cute neighbours (aka. large field of sheep and lambs), row boats on the lake with access to life jackets (which many families enjoyed during my visit), a Japanese garden area, an orangery, shell house, fire pit and an outdoor pool for the warmer seasons. For me, this was like visiting a glamping spa - It was peaceful, beautiful and had everything I could need for a few days away from busy work/life. I can't wait to visit again hopefully sometime soon!

The location was superb as were the facilities. We loved the swimming lake and the paddle boards and canoe which were totally free to use. We also loved the the swimming pool which was a good size. The badminton and cricket on the law were fun as well. Loved the fact that hot water bottles were also provided for chilly nights in the tents. Everything was really well thought out and we really enjoyed our short break here would definitely go again and highly recommend this resort.
