Pentney Lakes site is such a fabulous place. It has a variety of lodges, some quite unique. We found everyone to be friendly and helpful. Jeff looks after the Lodge on behalf of the owner, went over and above looking after Janet, my friend's mum, helping with any queries. The weather throughout was sunny, and the place is relaxing - birds singing, small deer roaming around and nice walks. We arrived at our lodge to milk in the fridge, tea, coffee and nice biscuits in the kitchen. A lovely gesture after a day of travelling. I know people order groceries to be delivered...we didn't .......so you'll have to drive either King's Lynn or Swaffham for supermarkets. Lovely pub just on the main road. The clubhouse on-site has a nice bar and is cosy with a log-burner...various home-cooked meals, eat in or take away...ie fish and chips night. We were on a quest to find Janet's fathers' grave...she's 83 years old. We asked many people for help..using local people's knowledge and met a lovely volunteer at the Town Hall, Sue G...who as an archivist - she found out so much information for us. It was amazing. All in all, the Lodge we stayed in and the people we met made for an extra special few days. I think we'll be back.

On arrival the heating was not working, the owner responded very quickly and resolved the issue straightaway within 5 minutes, so we were nice and warm Property was very well equipped with comfortable beds. and upon arrival there was tea,coffee,milk and some biscuits which was a very welcome surprise. nice touch decor was very nice. good amount of kitchen equipment and appliances. very safe for children, bar and grill on the complex was outstanding service and helpfulness. everyone in he area were super friendly and helpful. would 1 million percent recommend to family and friends everything was just perfect.
