What a hidden gem. Acres of beautiful gardens, beautiful heritage sandstone buildings, calm atmosphere, great staff. Had sole use of reading room, chapel, ballroom, so cheap, can't believe I found it online. Thx so much for the stay, it was unique.

The rooms have recently had air conditioning installed and also have ceiling fans. The grounds and surroundings at St Joseph's spirituality and education centre are lovely. There is access to an outdoor swimming pool in nature. There is meditational walk near the water with philosophical sayings from Mary McKillop and others. There is a very comfortable lounge for relaxing and reading. There is labyrinth for those who like the challenge and alot of history with this site. There is onsite parking for guests which is free of charge. It is not far by car to drive from this facility to Avoca or Kincumber beach. The onsite manager was very responsive and helpful regarding any issues raised about the accommodation
