Charming, cosy. Feels remote but not isolated. Modern fitted kitchen, all mod cons there including washer and dryer and usual things you might need including airer. Good internet. Pleasant atmosphere. Comfy couch. Local history books and walking guides. DVD player (with a selection of Merchant Ivory productions, so bring your own if your tastes are different). Interesting little garden - bring your own bird seed. Very quiet hamlet. Great nighttime views of the Milky Way. Convenient for walking to many local neolithic sites, short drives to Oban, Kintyre. Helpful cottage manual.

We used this as a base in Argyll and were thrilled with the cottage and location. The cottage was spotless, well equipped and delightful. Easily one of the better rentals we've done over the years
