The hotel is excellent. Great layout and atmosphere. Friendly and helpful staff, large room. Wonderful breakfast with great views across the gardens. Easy access to the high street and direct access through the gardens to the castle.

We LOVED pretty much EVERYTHING about the Butler House. The hotel is a gem: small, but cozy, elegant, so pleasant that it makes you want to spend all the time inside. The reserved parking space is really convenient. The garden is so beautiful, pity we couldn’t enjoy because of the rain. The room very big and comfortable. The breakfast was simply DELICIOUS. The staff helpful and friendly.

Central location in the city. Large rooms in this historic house. The Kilkenny Castle is just outside the nice house gardens.
