Location was superb for looking out over Donegal Bay, with views across the mountains of multiple counties - when it wasn't raining! Really quiet place too, lots of bird life (including a robin that liked to pose on the wall outside the house), and sheep in the fields nearby. As a base for exploring the south side of the county, it's an excellent spot. You could potentially explore the middle and north of the county, but it's a 2 hour drive (roughly) to the Letterkenny area, and the proper north part of the county is further than that. Plenty of touristy options within a 30 minute drive for those looking for that kind of thing. Or just sit out front with a cup of tea and watch the sheep! You need to be comfortable with driving on one-car-wide lanes to reach the property, but there are passing points and in general everyone knows how to use them (including reversing to make passing possible).

The cracking view 180 degrees across the bay, outdoor space, cooking facilities, heating, rain shower, location, comfortable bed, no neighbours- tranquility, peace - just the sounds of new born lambs and birds, walking distance to beach, easy drive to local nature spots
