Given that it was an active war zone, all facilities and staff were superb

The hotel is situated in a wonderful area. Great restaurants cafes nearby as well as the historic parks, churches and historic monuments which bring home the heroic spirit of Ukrainians. Arsenalia train station is a 8 mins walk away . The staff are very helpful and friendly.

The hotel is really old inside and needs refurbishing. There is a smell of pipes in toilets spreading to the rooms, and the old paint falls from the ceiling. Though, it’s a great landmark and worth experiencing

The hotel is close to the Arsenalya metro station and there are grocery stores nearby. It is an old Soviet hotel but the facilities aren't dated. The view of Dniepr River at the balcony is gorgeous. There is a currency exchange at the lobby, and the baggage storage is available for 60 UAH per day. I had a great experience there.
